First Congregational Church of Watertown, Connecticut welcomes all who seek to share the Good News of God’s love for us in Jesus Christ. We welcome everyone regardless of race, culture, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical, cognitive or emotional ability, marital standing, family structure, socio-economic status, education or spiritual and religious background. All are welcome and encouraged to work together, in mission and service, to participate fully in the leadership, ministry, fellowship, worship, sacraments, responsibilities, blessings and joys of our church. Our church has stood in the heart of Watertown since 1739. Today we are a community composed of families and individuals from many different faith backgrounds. We’re a church where a diverse range of beliefs and different levels of faith commitment are welcome and appreciated. We are united by our concern for one another, our commitment to God’s world, and our desire to deepen our spiritual lives through worship, learning and service in Christ’s name. Join us! We meet every Sunday at 10:00AM for in-person worship
Be part of our eFam and join us for online worship every Sunday
Church school is on Sundays (Sept. - June) at 10AM for Pre-K (age 4) through grade 8
Vacation Bible School (VBS) - This monumental program will be August 1 – 5, 2022 from 9am – 12 noon.
Confirmation class is for students in 9th and 10th grade
New students for church school are welcome to join anytime during the year
