Church School

​

We welcome all children to attend Church School.  New students are welcome to join anytime during the year. 

 

• Church School begins on the Sunday after Labor Day and concludes on the second Sunday in June. 

• Classes are grouped as follows:  Pre-Kindergarten (age 4) and Kindergarten, Grades 1 & 2, Grades 3 & 4, Grades 5 & 6 and Grades 7 & 8.

• Families come to church for 10AM then during the worship service, children are dismissed to class. Class time ends at 11:15.

• The curriculum is age-appropriate for each grade level and follows the lectionary (Bible) reading that the adults are hearing in Church.

• Advent and Lenten family nights

• Cherub Choir (Pre-K—Grade 2)

• Stick Squad (Grades 5—8)

• Food Drives

• Hosting a Church Social Hour

• Participating in worship as a reader, usher or acolyte. 

• Vacation Bible School (1st week in August)
